Fragment from the left arm of a warrior statue that holds a shield. From the shield preserved is only the ochanon handle through which the man’s arm has passed. The rest of the shield must have been made separately and was adjusted into the round drill opened in the marble. The handle retains some of its original red colour.

The fire traces on the fragment’s surface are most possibly the result of the Acropolis destruction by the Persians in 480 BC. It has been suggested that the arm comes from the same statue as the rider’s head Ακρ. 621.
